Davis Blumentals
Davis is a veteran of the Australian Computer Industry having commenced his career in 1965 as a computer programmer in the University of Adelaide. His experience in the Australian Insurance Industry started when he moved to Sydney in 1980 to form Davis Blumentals and Associates as a software company specialising in insurance systems.

Between 1980 and 1992, Davis designed and built insurance systems that are market leaders today. His company DBA Limited developed the BrokerLink network and used market leadership to secure support from insurance underwriters and intermediaries. Venture partners included the major insurance companies and IBM. BrokerLink was the world’s first e-Commerce system for the insurance industry that today processes over 5 million transactions a year. Telstra acknowledged the network’s strategic value when it acquired DBA and BrokerLink in 2002.

As the founder and managing director of RISK360 Solutions Pty Ltd, Davis Blumentals is responsible for the development of world-class governance, risk management and compliance solutions that support client goals of sustainability and competitiveness in today’s highly regulated industries.

Norelle Blumentals
Norelle began her career as a national marketing co-ordinator, and worked on the development of direct sales of computer peripherals to the retail channel. She worked with Canon Australia promoting bubble jet and laser printers and was promoted to the role of national retail sales manager.

After a five year stint, she was hired as a national business manager by Philips Electronics Australia to help restructure the domestic appliances and personal care business. She moved to the PC peripherals division and became the business unit manager with a brief to improve business processes, strategic planning and customer relationships. She was promoted to the role of Philips consumer electronics commercial channel manager in 2003.

Norelle founded RISK360 with Davis in 2004 and we benefit from her skills and experience as she advises on strategic direction and partner relationships.  Norelle Blumentals is an active alumni of The University of Sydney and The University of New South Wales.
